ESET always stands among the best picks for internet security software for its comprehensive antivirus protection, anti-phishing and additional security features. I have been using it for my enterprise since so many years. Its the best when compared to webroot.

Personally, ESET well protected my personal machines for more than 10 years. I have used and managed Symantec, Avast and ESET in my professional career. ESET is my preferred platform for both personal and work.

ESET for me. Webroot lost its reputation after pricking consumer and business PC. But the truth is, Windows Defender is all you need if you have good common sense and Microsoft keeps enhancing Windows Defender protection capability.

I recommend Eset. The beauty of ESET products is unlike other security solutions when they restrict you from reactivations and what not, you can use the same license on another computer freely provided you are not using the same license at the same time and violating the license allowed users. Just uninstall it from your old laptop and reinstall it on the new one and you're good to go

The only advantage I can find with webroot is its lightness. the rest I believe eset is better.

Eset has better signature (offline) and it has been doing well in tests made by av-tests, AV-comparatives,...

Eset can protect you better while offline, WSA only does well in pcmag reviews while other "top" AVs do not.

Webroots antivirus as editors choice,I chose to trust it completely (I have used it since the PrevX days together with sandboxie). It has since shown to be a good decision.

Eset have a good antimalware engine too,and I have used it some years, back in the days. But for me the light footprint (ekstreme) and outstanding malware blocking properties as WSA actually have is irresisteable for me.With that said,I understand those that trust/want Eset, cuz it really is one of the topcontenders,so it must be up to personal preferences.

Webroot is good, but I’d prefer ESET as it gives near-total protection. The features that ESET provides makes it my favorite. It’s also good when it comes to providing anti-phishing protection.
